It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome and to introduce our new website for the Province of Greater London in the Commemorative Order of St Thomas of Acon. This site has been created to offer information and understanding of our Christian Masonic Chivalric Order, whose members endeavour to live according to the principles of humility and charity.
The Commemorative Order of St Thomas of Acon most fittingly completes the Masonic Knight Templar experience, promoting the exemplary practice of its gentler virtues: humility, brotherly love expressed through practical charity, and a sincere concern for the welfare of others. It encourages us all to cultivate the “inner Almoner” within.
As a uniquely English Chivalric Order founded upon true historical events, it offers valuable lessons for those who wish to deepen their charitable spirit. The distinctive manner in which these lessons are conveyed makes this a particularly special Order.
The Province of Greater London consists of six Chapels, meeting at Masonic Centres and halls within M25 in Kenton, Watford, Sutton and Centre London each conveniently situated for its members.
